Once your car is ready to go, you're taken to the arena, where you'll battle computerized drivers or online players, depending on your choice of play. Fortunately, there's a tutorial if you get confused along the way and need an explanation of build components. There are a ton of components, and you'll need to balance the additional firepower with the basic needs of controlling and driving the car. Each element that you add will cost you a different amount of scrap, all of which is collected in the midst of battle.
The game starts out by letting you design your vehicle from the bottom up with a small, medium, or large chassis. This racer is unique because it doesn't allow you to design your car randomly players must take time and use strategy to ensure their creation will last in battle.
